About This Event
Golden Trail World Series(GTWS)는 세계 정상급 트레일 러너들이 참가하는 글로벌 트레일 러닝 시리즈입니다. 시즌마다 유럽, 아시아, 북미 등 여러 대륙을 순회하며 상징성과 기술적 난이도를 갖춘 산악 레이스들을 하나의 시리즈로 구성하고, 선수들은 시즌 동안 포인트를 획득하며 경쟁합니다.
GTWS는 공정성, 형평성, 투명성이라는 가치를 바탕으로 현대 트레일 러닝을 대표하는 글로벌 시리즈로 자리 잡았습니다. 이 경쟁 구조의 대미를 장식할 그랜드 파이널은 시즌의 최종 챔피언을 가리는 마지막 무대로, 선수들은 단 하나의 무대를 향해 시즌 내내 한계를 넘어 달려옵니다.
올해 GTWS 그랜드 파이널은 사상 처음으로 대한민국에서 개최됩니다. 2026 시즌의 마지막 무대는 전라북도 무주군 덕유산 국립공원이며, 향적봉과 중봉을 잇는 약 26km 코스는 누적 고도 2,122m 이상의 험난한 능선 구간과 가파른 오르막, 거친 암석 지형과 기술적인 다운힐이 이어지는 극한의 레이스로 설계되었습니다. 코스는 천년의 역사를 간직한 백련사를 지나며 자연과 문화, 스포츠가 만나는 독창적인 트레일 경험을 제공합니다.
라이더스는 서울 주요 거점에서 무주 덕유산까지 장거리 셔틀 및 프라이빗 이동 서비스를 제공합니다. 참가 선수와 코치, 응원 가족, 관람객 모두에게 복잡한 자차 이동 대신 편안한 직행 이동을 안내합니다.
The Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) is a global trail running circuit featuring the world's top trail runners. Each season the series travels across Europe, Asia, and North America, uniting iconic mountain races of high technical difficulty into one championship structure where athletes accumulate points throughout the year.
Built on the values of fairness, equity, and transparency, GTWS has become the global benchmark of modern trail running. The Grand Final is the climactic stage where the season's champion is crowned — the single arena every athlete pushes their limits for, season after season.
This year, the GTWS Grand Final is hosted in Korea for the very first time. The 2026 season finale takes place at Deogyusan National Park in Muju, Jeonbuk. The roughly 26 km course linking Hyangjeokbong and Jungbong peaks delivers over 2,122 m of accumulated elevation, demanding ridgelines, steep climbs, rocky terrain, and technical descents — an extreme race by design. The route also passes the thousand-year-old Baekryeonsa Temple, weaving nature, culture, and sport into a singular trail experience.
